Hello.  My name is Nick Box and I am Airplanes.  Within these tracks, you will hear many different influences, so the sound is hard to summarize.  The guitar playing is influenced by U2, Coldplay, and Third Eye Blind.  The pianos are reminiscent of Sigur Rós and Max Richter. And the production of this project draws a lot from those artists, along with Jónsi and M83.  The hope is to make you feel like you're flying.  Whatever happens, I hope you enjoy what you hear.  If you don't, let's still be friends.
